Oven fresh: This exotic tandoori chicken recipe is party perfect
On August 15 India was partitioned into India and Pakistan. The state of
Punjab was divided in half. West Punjab went to Pakistan. East Punjab
joined India. Almost six million Hindu and Sikh refugees streamed out of
west Punjab into India carrying their personal belongings. With them came
their famous clay ovens, called the tandoor, and their extraordinary
cuisine.
Punjab's tandoori chicken or angaray chicken like a hurricane swept through
Delhi and spread all over India and then journeyed abroad. Thus one of the
