Commission to host conference on Black manhood

Responsible Black Manhood is the topic of the 2001 Indiana Commission on
the Social Status of Black Males State Conference to be on Monday, Oct. 22
and Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the Indiana Government Center.

The Indiana Commission on the Social Status of Black Males was established
by legislation in 1993. Its purpose is to study and recommend legislative
remedies to address the critical social problems facing the Black male
population in Indiana.
