I have to admit to being cautiously pessimistic about this pairing of Jack
Nicholson and Adam Sandler, two Hollywood heavy-weights with distinctly
different approaches to acting.

The well-rounded Nicholson, widely recognized as the consummate
professional, has graced the screen in some of the most memorable movies
ever made, including such classics as "Easy Rider" (1969), "Chinatown"
(1973), "The Shining" (1980) and "Batman" (1989), to name a few.

Furthermore, the charismatic actor has been nominated for an Academy Award
a dozen times over the course of his illustrious career, winning thrice,
for "As Good As It Gets" (1999), "Terms of Endearment" ...
