My guest columnist this week is Minister Margaret A. Donaldson Cobb, a
member of Light of the World Christian Church and the author of Are You
Mrs. Or Mis(s)understood?

The steps of a good man or woman are ordered by the Lord. Stepping out for
God means, we are walking by faith and not by sight. When we go to God in
prayer, we may ask God to lead us and guide us along the way. Or we may
pray as Jabez prayed: asking God to bless him indeed, enlarge his coast,
prayed for God's hand to be on him and keep him from evil.

Apparently, Jabez asked that, so he could step out from the circumstances
