Sounding Off: I know I've been changed

When I hear gospel singer LaShun Pace belt out the soulful and
heart-wrenching chorus of "I know I've been changed," the song has new
meaning for me at this stage in my life.

I've had the Pace recording for about 10 years, periodically listening to
it as I cleaned house or while I dressed myself on those rare Sunday
mornings the spirit would move me to get off my butt and go to church.

The song tells of a woman fiercely witnessing about how she's been changed
for the better through God's grace, mercy and love.

The sheer depth and range of Pace's voice I found exhilarating.

I thought I lost the recording until I rediscovered it in an old, beat-up
box ...
