On Sunday, May 19th, 2002, Jersey City, N.J. witnessed its first
traditional Latin Mass in over 30 years, celebrated at Holy Rosary Church,
Well over 100 people were in attendance to welcome back the Church's
beautiful and solemn liturgy.

For nearly 1,400, the traditional Latin Mass was the Liturgy of the Roman
Catholic world. It was the Mass at which practically every Pope, and Saint
and Christian of the West worshiped from 600 A.D. to 1970 A.D. It was the
Mass that Catholic martyrs gave their blood to preserve during the
Protestant Reformation. It was the Mass that united Christians across
