New Jersey Historical Commission Announces Annual History Awards
The New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of the Department of
State, will present its 2000 Awards of Recognition at its Annual
Conference, "Looking Back at Our Lives in the 20" Century," held at the
Frist Campus Center. Princeton University, on Saturday, December 2,2000.
The Commission will award its highest honor, the Richard J. Hughes Award,
to Richard Waldron, the Commission's former executive director, in
recognition of his tireless work on behalf of the New Jersey history
community. The Commission's Awards of Recognition honor outstanding recent
accomplishments that promote the study, ...
