Isidro Garza wins Bexar County

By winning primary elections even in Bexar County, Isidro Garza's campaign
for the vast 23rd Congressional District escalates to the national level.
Last Tuesday, people gave a definite yes to Garza and clearly turned what
some skeptics considered "non-winnable" battle for the general election.

The general figures speak for themselves; Garza got 43,424 votes, 70
percent of the total, against 18,938 of his opponent Joseph P. Sullivan.
But critics gave even more attention to the significant results in Bexar
County, where Garza was not supposed to conquer.
