How often do you think about Foot and Mouth Disease? We've all read the
news headlines reporting the latest outbreak in Europe. And if you're a
farmer in America you've probably done a fair amount of research on the
subject. But have you ever sat down, sorted out the facts and given the
subject some serious thought?
I think about the disease pretty often. As many of you know, I'm the
chairman of the House Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee. I meet with
