a bit off the beaten path, however food afficionados, willing to drive a
few extra miles will find unique little restaurants serving up delicious
fare at reasonable prices, the Sentinel discovered when we joined educator
Pamela Garrett's restaurant tour for a day's outing of great camaraderie
and spectacular, well prepared food recently. The event was dubbed "A
Soulful Taste of L.A.".
Uncle Darrow's, the noted pecan praline candy people was our first stop at
