Most of us know about the dangers of fast food. Fast food contributes to
the obesity epidemic. Nearly 60 percent of Americans are overweight. We
know that foods high in fat and salt, low in fiber, and filled with
nitrates contribute to increased rates of cancer. The incidence of prostate
cancer among African American men is nearly 60 percent higher than among
white men. The incidence of diet-related cancers is higher among African
Americans than other ethnic groups.

Many have realized that a diet low in fat and high in complex
