Vulcan Society to memorialize lost Black firefighters
The Vulcan Society, the official organization of the New York City Fire
Department's African-American firefighters, will hold a memorial for the
Black firefighters - 11 missing and one confirmed dead - who responded to

This Sunday, Nov. 11, the Vulcan's annual memorial to fallen Black
firefighters will be especially geared toward remembering the 12
firefighters who lost their lives this year - and the families they are
leaving behind.
