ANNUAL PIONEER AWARDS CELEBRATE
In its continued recognition and celebration of women in the field of
visual arts, Incorporation of Artists on the Move (IAM) presented its Third
Annual Pioneer Awards ceremony hosted by Malik Yoba and Nnenna Freelon at
Columbia University's Lerner Hall.
Yoba is a three-time recipient of the NAACP Image Award for his portrayal
of J.C. Williams in the hit TV series "New York Undercover" and is
currently starring in TNT's first dramatic series, "Bull."
Freelon, is a five-time Grammy-nominated Jazz vocalist and National
Spokesperson for Partners in Education, and an art collector.
