Dateline: BRIDGEPORT, Conn.
A man already serving a 30-year sentence for the sexual assault and
strangling of a sixth-grade girl he met in an Internet chat room was
sentenced to another to 25 years in prison on federal charges related
to the killing.
Saul Dos Reis, 26, was sentenced Tuesday on two charges of traveling
in interstate commerce to engage in illegal sex with a minor in the
death of 13-year-old Christina Long of Danbury. He is already serving
time for state charges.
U.S. District Judge Stefan Underhill ordered Dos Reis to serve 15
years of the sentence concurrently with the state sentence and 10
