The Michigan Citizen News-paper is saying goodbye for the summer to general
assignment reporter Bankole Thompson and welcoming Howard University
student Nicole Melton to the paper.

Thompson is off to Washington D.C. for a foreign policy internship. For
three months he will work with the Africa Faith and Justice Network (AFJN),
a leading capitol hill voice on the U.S. government's African policy.

AFJN works with various branches of U.S. government, including the State
Dept. and the Congress. Bankole will expand his impressive negotiating and
