With over 5,500 donors registered and cooperative transplant centers
identified throughout the world, the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry
(ABMDR) has joined the Bone Marrow Donors Worldwide (BMDW), an organization
that will expand the ABMDR's exposure internationally, help identify more
patients in need, and assist in finding matches for life-saving bone marrow
transplants. Once a link on the BMDW website is established, physicians
with Armenian patients throughout the world can contact the BMDW and be
linked to the ABMDR, which can then search for matches.
