Concordia Store Nearly Ready: The New Seasons Market on Northeast 33rd
Avenue opens Dec. 5

A newly built, locally owned grocery store opens next week in the Concordia
Neighborhood, hoping to bag shoppers from the area's ethnically diverse
streets.

The New Seasons Market is the brainchild of former owners and employees of
Nature's health-food grocery stores.

Its grand opening celebration kicks offs at 10 a.m. Dec. 5 at its site at
the corner of Northeast 33rd Avenue and Killingsworth Street.

Employing 110 people, many from the neighborhood, the New Seasons Market is
designed to please a multicultural clientele, said company President Brian
