Article: Poland's May 3rd Constitution Celebrated

In the spirit of international pride, Poland's 3rd of May Constitution was
honored across the United States and Canada. Among the observances were:

CONNECTICUT. Susan Bysiewicz, Secretary of State of Connecticut, invited
all to Polish Day at The Capitol on May 3, in commemoration of the 211th
anniversary of the Polish Constitution, and in honor of the late State
representative Stanley Krawiec. In attendance were Governor John Rowland
and Polish Consular representative.

The event was sponsored by House and senate members of Polish descent
including: State senator Tom Bozek; State representatives Tony Tercyak, and
Terry Gerrantana; and Deborah Anne Krawiec, ...
