Chicago Heights-Wadowice Finalize Sister City Relationship
CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill.--The final phase in formalizing a sister city
relationship between the City of Chicago Heights and the City of Wadowice,
Poland, took place on Sunday, April 22, in the council chambers of the
Wadowice Town Hall.
For a sister city relationship to be recognized by Sister Cities
International--based in Washington, D.C.--a mutual agreement must be signed
in both cities. Representatives from Wadowice signed an agreement in
Chicago Heights on October 12, 1999.
