As `Olympians Of The Century'
Memories are for keeps, and dreams...they do come true.
Tommie Smith and John Carlos revisited their memories last weekend, and
completed a journey they had dreamed of for 32 years.
Carlos and Smith were honored by the California Black Sports Hall of Fame
(BSHOF) as "Olympians of the Century" for their courageous stance during
the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games.
