Struggles, Joys And Insights About The Civil Rights Era
Myrlie Evers-Williams, widow of slain civil rights activist Medgar Evers,
gave an hour-long speech on the perils of hatred and the continuing
struggle for civil rights in America as a part of the California State
University Sacramento's "Leaders and Legends" series.
CSUS president Dr. Donald R. Gerth introduced Ms. Evers-Williams'
appearance and the series as a needed response to the spate of hate crimes
