HOLY TRINITY CELEBRATES 150TH BIRTHDAY

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church-Nashville's second-oldest Episcopal church,
housed in the city's oldest Episcopal church building-launches a yearlong
celebration of its 150th anniversary May 6, 2001, with a walking procession
in downtown Nashville.

The procession will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and feature
between 100 and 200 people traveling from Christ Church Cathedral at 900
Broadway to Holy Trinity at 615 6th Avenue South. Some people will be
dressed in 1850s period clothing and some will be carrying church banners.
