HIV Testing Coalition formed to provide comprehensive community access
The U.S. Government has awarded two multi-year grants, totaling $1.6
million to Memphis-based New Directions, Inc. to escalate the battle
against AIDS in the city's African-American community. Responding to a
nationwide call to action from the federal government, New Directions
submitted a plan to increase awareness and institute a focused drive to
multiply voluntary testing in the city's red zones where HIV/AIDS has
