It is apparent that Anthony Williams will be successful in his bid for
re-election as Mayor of the District of Columbia. The polls suggest it, the
endorsements reflect it and The Washington Informer urges voters to follow
suit. There is no doubt the city has experienced significant improvements
under his administration, and whether direct or indirect, nearly every D.C.
resident has benefited.
Mayor Williams, the self-proclaimed non-politician, still has a lot to
learn, however, about service to a culturally, racially and economically
diverse community. In his next administration, we want to help him lay to
rest the notions that Whites folks West of the park are more ...
