GUESTS at the Sri Lankan Food Festival launch at JW Marriott Hotel
Kuala Lumpur recently tasted the best of Sri Lankan cuisine prepared
by three chefs flown in from Mount Lavinia Hotel in Sri Lanka.
Launched by Sri Lanka High Commissioner Rosy Senanayake, the food
fiesta was prepared by master chef T. Pubilis Silva, sous chef K.A.K.
Premalal and demi chef de parte R.A. Jayalal.
The selection of dishes for the day included fish ambulthial (tuna
cooked with gamboye and spices), bakmaha salad (Sri Lankan spiced
fruit salad), negombo prawns theldala (king prawns with vegetable
