KUALA LUMPUR, Wed. - Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr Fong Chan Onn today said the Malaysian Trades Union Congress and the International Labour Organisation had adopted an incorrect methodology in a study on households living below the poverty line.
Denying the outcome of a study by both organisations that there were about one million households in the country placed under the category, he said, there were only 323,000 households living below the poverty line.
