KUALA LUMPUR, Sat. - The National Unity and Social Development Ministry will identify Orang Asli children with potential in academic and vocational fields, to be assisted by private corporations.
Minister Datuk Dr Siti Zaharah Sulaiman said the Orang Asli Affairs Department's counselling unit would conduct a nationwide consensus to identify these "potential children" soon.
"Once we have identified them and their relevant potential, the ministry will seek the co-operation of private corporate groups to devise specific work programmes for them.
