Softbank acquires 10pc stake in Dijaya Enterprise

DIJAYA Enterprise Bhd announced that Softbank Investment (International) Holdings Ltd of Japan has acquired a 10 per cent stake in the company for RM103.8 million.

The stake represents 7.52 million shares or RM13.80 per share.
In a statement to the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, Dijaya Enterprise said it was informed by its major shareholder Tan Sri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun that he had entered into a memorandum of understanding with Softbank for the latter to co-invest in Dijaya Enterprise.
