JOURNALISTS all over the world recently observed World Press Freedom Day. The occasion was not a celebration as the event was a reminder of the journalists who lost their lives in the line of duty, of those reported missing in action and of those who were kidnapped by rebel forces or imprisoned for their writings or published reports.
There were also newspapers that have been closed down by the authorities or burnt down by unknown arsonists.
