MANY people worry that their forgetfulness is a sign of Alzheimer's disease. Forgetting where we put out keys at one time or the other is not an indication of the disease. However when an individual forgets that he wears spectacles, then he is showing signs of Alzheimer's disease.

Alzheimer's disease, previously classified as Senile Dementia, is not limited to the elderly. It is often called `pre-senile' when it occurs before age 65 and `senile' in those above 65.
