KUALA LUMPUR, Tues. - Malaysia remains at the forefront in complying with the International Tropical Timber Organisation rules and regulations governing sustainable forest management.
The country also has proper legislation on matters related to timber.
Regional Centre for Forest Management director Dr Roslan Ismail said Malaysia was doing a good job in the field of sustainable forest management based on reports by forestry consultants.
