THE Petaling Jaya Municipal Council's legal department will formulate guidelines on computer game outlets in an effort to avoid the current problem with illegal video arcades.
Kampung Tunku State Assemblyman Dr Wong Sai Hou said the council had to draw up its own guidelines on computer games outlet, as there were no regulations on this.
Regulations proposed by the councillors during the monthly licensing committee meeting include requiring computer games outlet to use transparent glass.
Many outlets used tinted glass to prevent anyone from looking inside.
