IF the proposal to get cruise liner Star Cruises to make Kota Kinabalu a port of call becomes a reality, it would not only lead to an increase in tourist arrivals in Sabah but also enhance national integration.
Although the prime objective is to attract more tourists, the introduction of a cruise liner operation to the State would encourage more people from the peninsula to visit Sabah.
