ASTRO'S current enjoyment of its dominance in the subscription TV market will soon end if what is planned for MOL TV and MOL Broadband materialises. MOL.com Bhd is expected to launch the two services next month. The services are expected to compete with Astro.
Michael Soh, chief executive officer of 1800Assist.com Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of MOL.com Berhad) is tight-lipped on the company's plan in this area. Soh confirms that the initiatives will be announced this year, and a new infrastructure will be built for that purpose.
