TWO records were shattered during the Penang Schools athletics championships held at the Westlands Centre of Excellence grounds in Jalan Victoria Green yesterday.

Chong Teik Sim of SJK (C) Chong Kuang rewrote the boys' Under-10 shot putt while SMJK Union's Saw Mei Ling broke the girls' Under-15 shot putt categories respectively.
Chong hurled the iron ball to a new distance of 8.63m, erasing the previous of 7.65m.
