A COMBINATION of its history and taste has made Thai food "very acceptable" in Malaysia, said new Thai ambassador Chaisiri Anamarn.

He was speaking at the launch of the Dorsett Regency Hotel's "Allure of Thailand: Thai Food Festival" recently.
The three-week festival, which ends on April 30, will serve a variety of Thai dishes.
