Good prospects for Grand Continental

HOLDING company of the Grand Continental Hotel chain, Grand Central Enterprises Bhd booked a RM5.2 million improvement in consolidated pre-tax profit for the year ended Dec 31, 2000 to turnaround from a consolidated pre-tax loss of RM4.8 million incurred in 1999.
The pre-tax loss had been incurred on the back of a consolidated revenue of RM28.27 million.
For the year ended Dec 31, 2000 the company posted a consolidated pre- tax profit of RM397,327 on the back of a consolidated revenue of RM33.7 million.
