SAY CHEESE. Man has been saying it for at least 4,000 years. In fact, evidence shows that cheese dates back to the time of the ancient Sumerians. Ancient Greeks credited Aristaeus, a son of Apollo and Cyrene, with its discovery and it is mentioned in the Old Testament.
With such a long history, facts do get a little woozy and we can only surmise that the first cheese was created when milk was left for too long ...
