DESPITE a light drizzle, children of the kindergarten and primary sections of Sekolah Sri Garden turned up in full force recently for the school's 10th annual Sports Day at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium.

Officiating at the event was Che Ani Omar, who was representing the Kuala Lumpur Education director.
School principal Lim Chong Guan, in his speech, said schools play a vital role in teaching children physical skills.

The Sri Garden programme, he said, promotes healthy sports for physical and social benefits of its students.
