HANDSPRING Inc has released the Visor Edge for the local market. The slim and sleek device is now part of the company's line of popular personal digital assistants (PDAs) which include the Visor Deluxe, Visor Platinum and Visor Prism.

The new Visor Edge is encased in a lightweight aluminium casing and measures 11.9 centimetres by 7.9cm by 1.1cm.
As a result of its new ultra-thin look, the Visor Edge is missing something that is most commonly found in all Visors - the Springboard Expansion slot.
