KUALA LUMPUR, Wed. - The misuse of devices like wireless video cameras in public toilets and dressing rooms can now be detected with a new product called Privacy Aid from Taiwan.
The spy camera detector which looks like a car remote control is available locally at RM120.
Spokesman for the company which distributes it, Lim Tiew, said: "Hidden wireless video camera has become a serious social and criminal threat, which is sometimes installed at automated teller machines to forge ATM cards. It is hard to detect and control."
