KUALA LUMPUR, Thurs. - The Government wants women to be checked for breast cancer as early detection could help reduce mortality.

Health Minister Datuk Chua Jui Meng said women should seek early preventive measures by undergoing breast self-examination and examination by health care providers.
"Evidence from studies in Finland and Canada suggest that women who are competent in breast self-examination and have access to physicians capable of detecting breast abnormalities have a reduced mortality rate from breast cancer," he said at the launch of a ...
