MB: Perak Government not keen to shift toll plaza

IPOH, Wed. - The State Government is not keen to shift the Jelapang toll plaza further south to reduce accident at the steep stretch nearby as it wants to maintain the road from south Ipoh to Jelapang toll-free.

The present location of the toll plaza at KM266.3 of the North- South Expressway had often been blamed for accidents because of its proximity to the steep, meandering road from the Menora-Meru tunnels.
