MOUNTBATTEN Road, Foch Avenue, High Street and Old Market Street are some of the long-forgotten road names in Kuala Lumpur which reflected the colonial era of the past.
These streets, situated in the heart of the city, are now known as Jalan Tun Perak, Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Jalan Tun H.S.Lee and Jalan Hang Kasturi respectively.
Many of the older city folk would remember what these places were like then, less busy and noisy as what they are today.
