German players keep up the family tradition

HOCKEY has become a family tradition, especially for several players from Germany who would be aiming to outdo their fathers in their international career.
Leading the family tradition are the Kellers who have served successfully for Germany since the 1930s.
Ervin Keller started the success story when Germany won the silver medal in the 1936 Berlin Olympics while his son Carsten, one of Germany's leading players in the 60s and 70s, went one better by guiding his country to the gold at the 1972 Munich Olympics.
