KUALA LUMPUR, Fri. - Umno will hold a special assembly to amend its constitution immediately after the party's annual general assembly in June, deputy party president Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said today.

Abdullah said the proposed amendments would be tabled at the assembly for debate.
"The amendments will enable Puteri Umno to run according to its structure. Currently they are moving as a pro-tem committee," he said at a Press conference after chairing the Umno supreme council meeting at the party headquarters here.
