THE utilisation of information and communications technology in schools will be given greater emphasis in the current review of the curriculum, which includes an expansion in teaching ICT as a subject as well as technology-assisted learning.
Dr Rohani Abdul Hamid, deputy director of the Education Ministry's Curriculum Development Centre, said under the review, the Government is expected to gradually increase the number of schools offering computer and information technology (IT) subjects.
