KUALA LUMPUR, Wed. - Puteri Umno pro-tem chief Azalina Othman Said today denied there was a leadership crisis in the wing, saying such claims were an Opposition ploy to destroy it.
She said allegations of a crisis in the wing were made by the Opposition in its websites and such claims were picked up by the newspapers.
"Puteri Umno members have not said a word about purported problems within the wing. You only read of such problems in the newspapers.
"The newspapers pick up the news after going through Opposition websites."
