Malton most active stock on requotation

PROPERTY developer Malton Bhd, superceding the listing of former finance counter Gadek Capital Bhd, was actively traded on its requotation on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange's Main Board yesterday.

Malton was the most active stock and hit a high of RM1.65 before settling at RM1.44 on resumption of trading after a suspension of nearly two years.
Some 22.98 million Malton shares changed hands.

Malton added 17 sen to RM1.49 with 22,978 lots done.

Trading in Gadek Capital was halted in May 2000 after the firm merged with three other companies within the DRB-Hicom Group to form conglomerate DRB-Hicom Bhd.
