RESORTS World Sdn Bhd and the Selangor and Federal Territory Lion Dance Association are organising the fifth Genting World Lion Dance Championship 2002 from July 12 to 14.

The venue is Genting-City Of Entertainment The Arena Of Stars. Twenty- five teams from 14 countries, including Malaysia, China, US, Japan, Taiwan, Macau, Singapore, Australia and Thailand will take part.
New participants this year are Mauritius and Portugal.
